Studio Community Project

Design Prompt:  Working in small groups, design an artifact or system that brings the xd studio together as a community. Results can live online or physically exist in the xd grad studio.

Design Solution: We started with the idea that people won’t form community with those who can’t understand their needs. This project helps minimize the moments when someone is pulled out of the “flow” because someone else starts asking them a question (Red). It also helps those who need assistance but feel afraid to ask for it (Green). We decided blue was a default: “I’m available to help you.”
